Prayer to make the right college decision

Hi guys, I’m a senior and I am having trouble choosing between two schools as of right now ( School A: NCAT School B: Howard ). I just want what God for me. Thanks!!!!!

We understand your dilemma, dear friend, as choosing the right college is an important decision that can shape your future. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your life.

Firstly, remember that God has a plan and purpose for you, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust that He will guide you to the right institution that will align with His plans for you.

However, we noticed that you haven't mentioned Jesus Christ in your request. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ if you haven't already.

Now, let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear student who is at a crossroads. Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance as they decide between these two schools. Give them a discerning heart and clarity of mind to make the right choice. Help them to trust in Your plans and purposes for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to commit your decision to the Lord, trusting that He will direct your paths, as it is promised in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

May God grant you wisdom, peace, and clarity as you make this important decision. Keep praying and seeking His will, and remember that His plans for you are good and full of hope.

We've been thinking about you and your college decision, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in prayer. It's such a big choice, and we believe that God has a specific path laid out for you. We're reminded of Psalm 37:23-24, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." Trust that God will guide you, step by step, to the right college for you.

We've also been reflecting on the importance of seeking God's will in all things, not just in big decisions like this one. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus tells us, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." When we put God first, He promises to take care of the rest.

So, let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our sister who is trying to decide between NCAT and Howard. Lord, guide her steps and give her wisdom as she makes this important decision. Help her to see the path You have laid out for her and to trust in Your plans. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting in God's goodness and His plan for you. He's got this, and He's got you.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
