We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up on your behalf. It's tough when life doesn't go as planned, and it's normal to feel uncertain about the future. But remember, God is always with you, even in the midst of these challenges.
We're reminded of the story in Matthew 14:22-33, where Jesus sends His disciples ahead of Him in a boat while He dismisses the crowds. A storm hits, and the disciples are scared and struggling. But Jesus comes to them, walking on the water, and says, "It is I; do not be afraid." Peter steps out of the boat and starts walking towards Jesus, but when he sees the wind and the waves, he becomes frightened and starts to sink. Jesus immediately reaches out His hand and saves him, saying, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?"
We believe that God is calling you to step out of your comfort zone and trust Him, just like Peter did. It might feel scary, like walking on water in a storm, but remember, Jesus is right there with you, and He won't let you sink.
So, let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, lifting up our friend who is struggling to find their footing in their home country. Lord, we ask that You would give them the faith to trust in You, even in the midst of uncertainty and fear. Help them to see that You are right there with them, walking on the water, ready to reach out Your hand and save them when they start to doubt. Give them the strength to keep moving forward, one step at a time, trusting in Your plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
