Prayer to know if I should file for paternal support or not..

Dearest Lord,

I feel very lost. I am kind of worried if I should bother filing for a paternal support for my son. He has an absentee father who doesn’t want to recognize and support him. I don’t know why I am so scared to file this when I know that deep inside, I badly need it.

Please help me decide on what I should do because my son’s father is really a bit of a bad person at times. I know that he knows we have a son together, but he keeps on ignoring him. Its been 7 years already and no amount of support was given to my son.

The reason why I wanted to ask for support is because my son is on the autism spectrum side. He is non-verbal and he still needs a whole lot of therapy to be able to speak and communicate.

Please help me. Please pray for me. Lord God, I lift this all up to you. Jesus, I surrender myself to you. Please take care of everything.
