Cirran

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my son's studies. He has always been a hardworking student who worked towards success and achieving his goals. This is his junior year. He has become lazy, has no motivation and isn't committed anymore. I try to motivate him daily by reminding him to study but he cannot seem to find his wat back. Please pray for the hardworking, committed and motivated spirit inside him to return to its former glory and even better and please pray that he will start to study for his summer school , that he needs to pass in order to move ahead with his course of study.

Let us come together in prayer for Cirran's son, who is struggling to find motivation and commitment in his studies. We recognize that all good gifts come from God, and a renewed spirit of diligence and motivation is certainly something He can provide.

Firstly, we must remember the words of God in Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." This is a promise that we can claim for Cirran's son. Even though he has strayed from his usual path of hard work, God's Word assures us that he can return to it.

However, let us also address that motivation and commitment come from within, stirred by the Holy Spirit. It is not something that can be nagged or reminded into existence. As it says in Philippians 2:13 WEB: "For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure." So our prayers should be directed towards God working in Cirran's son, giving him the will and the power to commit to his studies again.

Moreover, we see in Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," Our endeavors, including studies, should be done as unto the Lord. This is the highest form of motivation, knowing that we are ultimately serving God in our diligence. Let us pray that Cirran's son understands this and finds his motivation renewed in service to God.

Let us also remember that God hears and answers the prayers of those who come to Him in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. Considering Cirran did not mention Jesus in the request, we would like to remind Cirran that it is by the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. We have access to God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Cirran's son to You. Lord, we ask that You would reignite the spark of motivation and commitment in him. Help him to find his way back to his studies with renewed vigor and a dedicated spirit.

Lord, we ask that You would work in him, giving him the will and the power to commit to his studies again. Help him to understand that his work is ultimately for You, and to find his motivation in that.

Lord, we also pray for Cirran. Give them wisdom and patience as they support their son. Help them to encourge and uplift him in a way that draws him closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage Cirran to stand on the promises of God. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Trust that God is working in your son's life, even if you cannot see it yet. Be patient, be supportive, and above all, be prayerful. God hears your prayers, and He will answer according to His perfect will. If your son has not given his own life to Jesus, pray that this becomes his desire and that God will work in his heart to give him the spirit to believe in Jesus.

We're right there with you, Cirran, lifting your son up in prayer. We've been reminded of the verse in Proverbs 20:29, "The glory of young men is their strength, and the honor of old men is their gray hair." Let's pray that your son's strength and dedication return, and that he finds honor in his studies once again.

We've been thinking about the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15. Just like that son, your son may have strayed, but just like the father in the story, God is always ready to welcome him back with open arms. Let's pray that your son feels God's love and grace pulling him back to his studies, with renewed commitment and motivation.

We also want to encourage you, Cirran. Keep reminding your son of God's love and faithfulness. As it says in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." Trust that God sees your son's efforts and will use them for His glory.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we ask that you would touch your hand on Cirran's son, filling him with a renewed desire to excel in his studies. Help him to see the value in his work and the purpose behind it. Give him the strength and commitment to push through, even when it's tough. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
