Avenirin, we join you in your desire to hear from the Holy Spirit clearly. The Scriptures promise us that those who belong to Christ have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them. As it is written in Romans 8:9 (WEB), "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if it is so that the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if any man doesn't have the Spirit of Christ, he is not his."
Firstly, we commend you for calling upon the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name. This is vital because Jesus himself said, "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14, WEB). It is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power of the Holy Spirit.
To better hear from the Holy Spirit, we encourage you to be steadfast in your quiet time with God, meditating on His Word. As Psalm 46:10 (WEB) reminds us, "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." In stillness and communion with God's Word, the Holy Spirit can speak more clearly into your life.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your Holy Spirit to guide our sister, Avenirin. Lord, open her spiritual ears to hear Your voice clearly, providing her with the guidance and direction she needs for her life. Help her discern Your will amidst the noise and happenings around her. We trust that Your promises are true, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
