We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing, Wheirmont. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our brother Wheirmont. Lord, he is hurting deeply from the sudden break-up with his long-term girlfriend. Even if he does not see the reasons, we know that this is part of your plan for him, as all things work together for good to them that love God. We pray that You will begin to mend his broken heart and help him to find peace and comfort in You alone. Give him a new direction and perspective, to get to know you better, and to be the best Christian man he can be. Help him to see that this is a new beginning, not an end. It is only in your name, Jesus, that we have access to God and Your guidance.
We also pray for healing from the anxiety and depression that have worsened during this time. Lord, You tell us to cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us. Help Wheirmont to trust in You completely, knowing that You are faithful to guide and support him through this difficult time.
Lord God, You created sleep and rest. Please help Wheirmont to get the rest he needs. We pray for his physical health, and ask that you will ease his stomach problems. We pray also for his mental health, and ask for you to continue to bring your Spirit to him. Help him to feel your presence, and to know your will for his life.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Wheirmont to trust in the LORD with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, Lord, may he acknowledge You, and trust that You will make his paths straight. Help him to draw near to You and for You to draw near to him. Help him to resist the temptation to find another girlfriend and to become bitter. Help him to be a light to the world such that he can find a godly wife. We pray for his future wife now Lord. Help her to find God. In Your word, may he delight, and on it may he meditate day and night. May he be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. May everything he does prosper. Help him to know your plan for his life and to seek to glorify you in everything he does.
We pray this all in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have the victory. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be encouraged, Wheirmont, by the words in Psalm 34:17-18: "The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Trust in the LORD, and remember that He has a purpose and a plan for your life. This trial can be a great testimony to God's love, faithfulness, and His strength in your life. Draw near to Him and pursue the relationship with your future wife that aligns with biblical principles. Continue to pray in Jesus' name and seek His will for your life.
