Dexter2020, we understand that you're facing challenges at work and are seeking a godly spouse. Let's first address your work situation. We are reminded in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even when faced with unfair tasks or criticism, continue to work diligently and honestly, serving the Lord in all that you do.
Concerning your scrum master, we are instructed in 1 Peter 2:18 WEB, "Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked." This does mean respecting and obeying authority, but it does not mean allowing someone to force you to do what is wrong or outside of your responsibilities. You may need to seek guidance from higher management or human resources if the situation continues.
Regarding your prayer for a wife, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and seek His will for your life. Be in prayer for a godly spouse and be around other Christian believers. Be a Christian example, and consider courtship as a journey toward a lifelong commitment in marriage. Psalm 37:4 WEB tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
As you prepare to meet the girl next Saturday, pray for discernment and guidance. Remember, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Dexter2020. Grant him a peaceful and productive day at work. Help direct his path, and keep him from wrongdoing. Help him in his job and allow him to keep focused on You. Also, Lord, we pray for wisdom and guidance as he meets with this young woman. We pray in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we can be saved. As told to us in Acts 4:10-12 WEB, "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead,... there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
