Thank you, Adedoyin, for reaching out to us with your prayer request. We appreciate your faith in God and your acknowledgment of the power of Jesus' name. The Bible promises us that, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 WEB. So we stand with you claiming this promise.
In difficult periods like this, waiting on decisions from authorities, we are reminded, "Let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. So be encouraged, even whilst waiting. Place your confidence in God.
We also pray for your application. However, remember that, as children of God, our ultimate trust is in Him. Whatever the outcome, He is in control and His plans for you are good.
Jesus teaches us to pray, "Give us today our daily bread" Matthew 6:11 WEB. This means we should trust God to provide for our needs. So, while we pray for your application to allow you to work, we remember that God provides for those who trust in Him.
With this in mind, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Adedoyin. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We confess and repent any sin, asking for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Lord, Adedoyin has been waiting for a Visitor Record Application approval, and this waiting has caused some depression. We pray, Father, that You will comfort and strengthen them. Enlighten their heart with your peace. We ask for favor in this situation and for the officials considering the case. We stand with Adedoyin and pray that if your will allows, they are granted their wish to work. Above all, Lord, let Your will be done in Adedoyin's life. Give them the strength to trust in You, regardless of the outcome.
