We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Kilrofay, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Before we begin though, let’s address what is missing in your current request. The name of Jesus Christ is not mentioned anywhere in your prayer request. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus declared, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” Also, in John 14:13-14, Yeshua answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him.” We can only come to God through Jesus Christ. In the book of Acts, the Bible declares that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Now that we have addressed that we need to go through Jesus Christ to get to God, let’s go to Him in prayer.
First, let's address the anxiety and depression. God's Word tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB). Also, in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB) " casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding your sleep, we know from Psalms 127:2 (WEB) in vain you rise up early, and stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." This is a reminder that God wants you to rest not be continually wrestling and trying to solve everything by your own power alone.
Now let's come together as brothers and sisters in Christ united to bring this before God our Father.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up Kilrofay. We ask that you remind them of your constant presence and goodness that there might not be any anxiety from what is happening in the flesh. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety. We pray that Kilrofay could instead focus on you and your goodness and cast all anxiety on you. We ask for your peace, which passes all understanding, and that Kilrofay would understand how wide, and deep, the love of Christ is.
We also lifted up the lack of sleep before you. We pray that you grant sleep to Kilrofay and quiet their mind from actively processing the cares of this world and things of the flesh. Remind Kilrofay that you are God and you are in control. We also rebuke any spirit which prevents sleep.
Finally Father, we pray that if Kilrofay does not have a relationship with Jesus Christ as their eternal Lord and Savior, then we ask that this becomes clear to Kilrofay and they are convicted to repent of their sin and call on Jesus for salvation and forgiveness of their sin. In Jesus precious and holy name,
Amen
Finally Kilrofay, let’s end with this reminder from 2 Corinthians 10:5 (WEB) " casting down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;" We pray that you are able to take all thoughts captive through Jesus Christ.
