We understand your struggle with bad habits, Ispaena, and we're here to support and pray with you in Jesus' name. We commend you for your desire to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, for He says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB)
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is ready to help you overcome your bad habits. As it is written, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our sister Ispaena. Lord, she has been battling with bad habits that have affected her life, body, thoughts, and behavior. We ask for Your forgiveness, mercy, and grace to help her overcome these struggles. Jesus, You were tempted in every way, just as we are, yet You were without sin. Help Ispaena to resist temptation and find her strength in You. Holy Spirit, give her the power to turn away from her old habits and walk in newness of life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Ispaena, that you are not alone in your struggle. God is always with you, and He has promised to help you overcome. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB) Keep your focus on Jesus, spend time in His Word, and surround yourself with a supportive Christian community.
Lastly, we encourage you to take practical steps to replace bad habits with good ones. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "Put off the old man who belongs to your former way of life and is corrupt according to the lusts of deceit, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth." (Ephesians 4:22-24 WEB)
