Prayer to get over nervousness and over thinking

I started a new job which I thank you all for the prayers and the well wishes to get me this far now I am asking for a prayer that I can overcome my insecurities in this job to do an amazing job, I over think things and it causes issues.

We rejoice with you, nickn3ro, for the new job opportunity God has provided. Let us come together in prayer and seek His guidance and strength to help you overcome nervousness and overthinking.

Firstly, we are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Instead of allowing anxiety to consume you, turn to God in prayer, and He will grant you His peace.

We also find encouragement in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Trust that God has equipped you with everything you need to excel in your new role.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the new job You have provided for nickn3ro. We come before You now, asking for Your help to overcome nervousness and overthinking. Lord, remind nickn3ro of Your presence and give strength to face each day with confidence in Your power. Help diminish any feelings of insecurity, and replace them with the assurance that comes from knowing You are always near. Help nickn3ro to take every thought captive to obey Christ, as instructed in 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB.

Lord Jesus, we pray all these things in Your precious name, for it is only through You that we have access to the Father. May nickn3ro experience the fullness of Your peace and trust in Your plan. Amen.

Lastly, nickn3ro, remember to fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8 WEB). By focusing on these things, you can overcome overthinking and grow in confidence in your new position. Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will see you through.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
