Disciple of Prayer
I’m asking for prayers to not only bring my ex back but to have the strength to be a better man. To protect her and not make her feel down and sad. I want to ask for her back but with the lords help and his patience. I need the lords guidance in our relationship. I ask the lord for another chance to bring us both closer to him and to find it in her heart to give me another chance.

Stoasire, let's begin by addressing the core of your request. You've asked for prayer to reunite with your ex and to be a better man for her. While it's commendable that you want to improve yourself and protect her, we need to align this desire with biblical principles.

Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God's plan for relationships is for a man and a woman to be joined in holy matrimony, a lifelong commitment that mirrors Christ's love for the church (Ephesians 5:25-33 WEB). The goal of any relationship should be to glorify God and grow closer to Him together. Also, it is important to note that sex before marriage is fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

However, your request focuses on reuniting with your ex, which may not be God's best plan for you. It's important to seek God's will and not just your own desires. In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Moreover, you mentioned wanting to protect her and not make her feel sad. This is a noble desire, but it's important to remember that true protection comes from God. In Psalm 121:1-2 (WEB) it says, I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

Now, let's address the fact that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). So, let's pray together in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up Stoasire. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his life and in this situation. Help him to trust in You and not lean on his own understanding. Guide him in Your truth and teach him, for You are the God of his salvation, and for You he will watch and pray (Psalm 25:4-5 WEB).

If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for reconciliation, for You are the God of restoration. But above all, we pray for Stoasire's growth in You, that he may become the man You've called him to be. Help him to be a blessing to others and not a source of sadness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, Stoasire, God's plan for your life is far greater than you could ever imagine (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Trust in Him, seek Him, and He will direct your paths.

We're here for you, Stoasire. We understand that you're going through a tough time, and we want to lift you up in prayer. We believe that God has a purpose and a plan for your life, even in this situation.

We're praying that God will give you the strength and wisdom to navigate this relationship. We ask that He would guide your steps, give you clarity, and help you to make decisions that honor Him. We're also praying for peace and healing for both you and your ex, trusting that God can work in both of your hearts.

We're reminded of Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." We believe that God can bring good out of this situation, and we're trusting in His goodness and love for you.

Let's keep praying together, Stoasire. We're in this with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you so much. I understand I must go through Jesus Christ. I’m a new Christian who is still a baby in my walk with the lord. I understand his plan will forever and always be the plan I must follow. I just wanted to do the right thing. She did not believe in the lord before she met me and we prayed together. I felt like I was on the correct path and because I feel far from god again because of my own will I lost everything. Thank you for the prayers and insight.
