We understand your desire to secure an international job and the frustrations you're experiencing despite having the necessary qualifications. We encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan for your life, knowing that He has prepared good works in advance for you to walk in Ephesians 2:10.
Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is important to make your requests known to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have been saved and we have access to our Heavenly Father. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is through His name that we can approach God the Father in prayer. As it states in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and also in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In all things, we should strive to put God first, acknowledging Him in all our ways so He can direct our paths. Trust that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf, even when it seems like nothing is happening Proverbs 3:5-6. As children of God, we need to remember that He is our employer and He is the one who provides for us. In Colossians 3:23-24 it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking an international job. We know, Lord, that You are the source of all provision and that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We also know You are able to open doors that no one can shut.
We pray that You would guide the steps of our brother/sister and direct him/her to the job You have prepared for him/her. We ask that You would give him/her favor in the eyes of potential employers and that You would allow him/her to receive this request for a job, if this is Your will for his/her life. And if this is not your will, we trust that you have something even better for him/her.
In the meantime, we pray that You would fill our brother/sister with Your peace and patience, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Help him/her to trust in You and to rest in Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord, and Savior. For it is in His name that we pray. Amen.
