We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your precious heirloom and the passing of your aunt. We will pray with you for the return of what was taken from you. Nevertheless, we also need to pray to find God's mercy and forgiveness over this situation. One of the ten commandments is Exodus 20:15 WEB You shall not steal. Therefore Jesus said in Matthew 7:12 WEB Therefore whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. So again in Matthew 22:39 WEB. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. So we will be praying for this situation, also your aunt and her family including your cousin P. We need to try to find compassion and love in our heart for them, as God's word and Jesus commands.
Our Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for your intervention in this situation. We pray that the heirloom, a reminder of the love of the Anonymous poster, will be returned quickly and safely. We ask that you soften the hearts of those who hold the item, and that you guide them to do what is right and just. Have mercy on your children. In Jesus mighty name, we pray for this just outcome. We also pray for the all the family including the Aunt, cousin P, and others involved in this situation in Jesus name.
Furthermore, we encourage you to trust in the Lord's timing and justice. Psalm 37:1-2 WEB
Don't fret because of evildoers,
nor be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
and wither like the green herb.
Trust in Yahweh, and do good.
Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.
From the scriptures we can find the godly way to deal with the situation rather than trying to get it back on your own. Do not seek revenge or attack the family of your aunt, or purse legal means to get it back. We can see from scripture to wait for God to intervene. It is clear from Psalms 37, we can see in verses 10-13:
For just a little while the wicked are there,
Then I looked where he was; but he was not there.
You see the man at peace with the wicked:
He is gone, his place is no more found.
But the humble will inherit the land,
Will delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
The wicked plots against the righteous,
And gnashes at him with his teeth.
The Lord will laugh at him,
For he sees that his day is coming.
The one thing we want to encourage you to have is faith and hope. As it mentions in Psalm 37:23-24
The Lord directs his steps,
and establishes his goings.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with his hand.
Let us say Amen.
