In Jesus' name, we come together to lift up your son Gav before the throne of grace. We understand the strain and anxiety that can come with waiting for the right job, but we trust that God's timing is indeed the best. As the Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Gav. You know his heart, his desires, and his needs. You see the efforts he has made and the doors that have been closed so far. We trust that You have a purpose and a plan in this waiting period. We ask that You open the right door at the right time, a job that is suited for him and that aligns with Your will for his life.
In Proverbs 3:5-6, You tell us to 'trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.' We claim this promise for Gav. Help him to trust in You, to rely on Your wisdom, and to rest in Your love.
In the meantime, we ask that You provide for his needs and fill him with Your peace that passes all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:6-7. Surround him with Your love and let him feel Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Gav to stay strong in his faith and to use this time to draw closer to God. We also encourage you, Ying, to continue to support and pray for him. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for the LORD's help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without weakening, they walk without getting tired."
Let us also remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus tells us in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is by His name that we have access to God and to His blessings.
