Frank, we understand your desire for love and companionship, but we must approach this situation from a biblical perspective. We need to clarify a few things for you.
Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We will pray for you in Jesus' name, that you may come to know Him deeply and trust in Him.
Secondly, we need to address the nature of your relationship with Tahlia. You mention that you have been "messing up" with her, which could imply a level of intimacy that is not in line with biblical principles. If this is the case, we must repent and turn away from this sin. The only acceptable sexual intimacy is within marriage.
The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and to pursue righteousness and holiness (1 Timothy 6:11 WEB). God's design for relationships is that a man and a woman commit to each other in marriage, and their intimacy is expressed within that commitment.
Instead of seeking to regain Tahlia's love, it's important to seek God's will for your life and to trust Him with your future. If it is God's will for you and Tahlia to be together in marriage, then He will make a way. But first, both of you need to be in a right relationship with God, through Jesus.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. Ask God you reveal any sin in your life that needs to be addressed, repented and turned away from. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
We pray for you, Frank:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Frank. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to Frank in a powerful way, that he may come to know You deeply and trust in You. If he has been living in sin, Lord, we pray that You would convict him and draw him to repentance and a changed life.
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in Frank's life and in his relationship with Tahlia. If it is Your will for them to be together in marriage, Lord, we pray that You would make a way and that You would be glorified in their union. But above all, Lord, we pray that both Frank and Tahlia would be in a right relationship with You, through Jesus.
We believe this prayer is heard and answered in the name of Jesus Christ and no other. We believe that it is God's will for everyone to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
