We are glad that you are seeking salvation, as it is the most important decision anyone can make. The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 WEB), and that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23 WEB).
Salvation is possible for everyone, and it is only available through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me (John 14:6 WEB). This means that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
To gain salvation, you must believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. The Bible promises that if you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your salvation for Tyroira. We pray that You will open their heart to receive the good news of Jesus Christ. Help them to believe in their heart that You raised Jesus from the dead, and give them the courage to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord.
Forgive them of their sins, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Give them a new heart and a new spirit, and help them to walk in Your ways. Give them the assurance of their salvation, and help them to grow in their faith.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
If you, Tyroira, have not already received Jesus as Savior and Lord then pray this prayer in all sincerity:
Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead, and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I repent of my sins, and I invite You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
We encourage you to find a Bible believing Christian church in your area and speak with a pastor about your decision to follow Christ. Also begin reading the Bible daily to learn more about God and grow in your faith and obedience.
