Prayer to free me from drinking

I drink my sorrows away and I’m only 38 (not married). I request you to pray that I free myself from this habit . To give me the strength cause I man I’m in love with doesn’t like it and I feel I won’t b a good partner if I do. Please pray for me that I go back to being normal . I never drank everyday but now I do.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Mithartam, who is struggling with the habit of drinking to cope with sorrows. We lift up Mithartam's request for freedom from this addiction and for the strength to overcome it. Your Word reminds us that you are able to save to the uttermost those who come to you . We believe that you have the power to deliver Mithartam from this bondage and restore them to a life of sobriety.

Lord, we pray that you would intervene in Mithartam's life and break the chains of addiction. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, who is the source of strength and self-control . Help Mithartam to resist the temptation to turn to alcohol as a means of escape and instead find solace and comfort in your presence.

We also pray for Mithartam's desire to be a good partner. We ask that you would grant them the grace to overcome this habit, not only for their own well-being but also for the sake of their relationship. May they find healing and restoration in you, Lord, so that they can fully embrace the love and companionship of their partner.

Father, we know that you are a God of transformation and renewal. We ask that you would restore Mithartam to a state of normalcy, where they no longer rely on alcohol to cope with their sorrows. Help them to find healthier ways to process their emotions and seek support from those around them.

We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you will answer according to your perfect will. May Mithartam experience your healing touch and walk in the freedom that comes from surrendering their struggles to you.

Thank you so much for this prayer. I haven’t felt like drinking since Sunday. Today is Tuesday and I feel good about it. Continue to pray for me.
