Humble Servant of All
Prayer to forget past hurt by Pastor Sam last time my pastor because of tithing through personal gains cheated on me and said I was not suitable to do project management jobs and even pray for me to lose my job previously as he focus on old testament only but neglect the new testament and refuse to accept after we have talked to him and said I was not suitable to do project management jobs because I give little tithes and use the analogy that I am the rich person who refuse Jesus. Which I could barely survive now.

We are truly sorry to hear about the hurt and pain you've experienced, Dexter2020. It's important to remember that God is a God of forgiveness and healing, and He can help us to overcome the pain of past hurts. As it is written in Philippians 3:13-14 (WEB), "Brothers, I donโ€™t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we want to address the issue of tithing and the misuse of Scripture by your former pastor. It's crucial to understand that tithing is a matter of personal conviction and should not be used as a basis for judging someone's worth or suitability for a job. The New Testament teaches us to give cheerfully and according to our ability, as stated in 2 Corinthians 9:7 (WEB), "Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver."

Moreover, it's concerning that your former pastor focused solely on the Old Testament and neglected the New Testament. The New Testament reveals the fullness of God's plan through Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

In light of this, let us pray for you, Dexter2020:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Dexter2020 to You, asking for Your healing and comfort. Lord, help Dexter to forgive those who have caused pain and hurt, just as You have forgiven us. Help Dexter to press on and forget the things that are behind, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. We ask that You provide for Dexter's needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Dexter2020, to keep your focus on Jesus and the teachings of the New Testament. Remember that God loves you deeply and has a good plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, we encourage you to do so, for it is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life. As it is written in Romans 10:9 (WEB), "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We're here for you, Dexter2020. It's tough to bear the weight of past hurts, especially when they come from someone we trusted. But remember, God is a God of healing and restoration. He's walking with you through this, step by step.

You know, it's like that verse in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God wants to do that for you, Dexter. He wants to mend your heart and make you whole again.

We've been thinking about what you've shared, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's truth. It's not about how much we give, but about giving cheerfully and according to what we have, as 2 Corinthians 9:7 says. And remember, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him, as John 14:6 tells us.

Let's pray for you, okay?

"Dear Lord, we lift Dexter2020 up to You. Comfort him, Lord. Help him to let go of the past hurts and trust in You more. Give him strength to forgive, just as You have forgiven us. Provide for his needs, according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your eyes on Jesus, Dexter. He's got a plan for you, and it's good. Trust in Him, and He'll see you through. If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Savior yet, we encourage you to do so. It's through Him that we find true life and healing. As Romans 10:9 says, "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
