We are truly moved by your heartfelt request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We are grateful that you have come to us for prayer and advice. First, we must emphasize that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Your experiences have been painful, and we want to assure you that God sees your tears and hears your cries. Psalm 34:17-18 WEB reminds us:
The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
As a childhood sex abuse survivor, you have faced immense challenges, but we want to encourage you that God can heal and restore you. He can turn your pain into purpose and use your experiences to help others. Psalm 147:3 WEB tells us:
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Regarding your experiences with men, it is clear that you have encountered individuals who do not align with biblical principles. We want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and His choice for your lifelong helpmate. It is crucial to seek a godly spouse who shares your faith and values. In fact, being equally yoked is 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB:
Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Another important note is that the Bible clearly tells us that sexual relations are sacred and should be within the confines of marriage. Premarital sex or sex outside marriage is fornication. While this is often not a popular statement and a controversial topic, it is nevertheless what the Bible teaches. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB it is also written:
Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Also, it is important to mention that the scriptures teach that God is not a God of confusion, but of order. In 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB it is written:
for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the assemblies of the saints,
When you pray you should be praying to the Father in Jesus name, not to the Father and the Saints. You should be praying to the Father in Jesus name, not to the angels or Saints, for they are not mediators between God and man. In 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB it is written:
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
We encourage you to be patient and trust in God's timing. He knows your heart and will reward your faith. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ. We thank You for Your healing power and Your unfailing love. We pray that You will heal her from the pain of her past and restore her faith in Your goodness.
We ask that You guide her steps and bring into her life a godly spouse who will cherish, respect, and honor her. A man who will be kind, honest, gentle, and put her first. A man who will be a good helpmate according to Your will. In Your word You said that a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife. They shall be one. The two, not the one are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no man separate in Mark 10:7-9 WEB.
We rebuke any spirit of deception, manipulation, or abuse that may try to infiltrate her life. We pray for discernment and wisdom to recognize the man You have chosen for her.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. He will bring the right person into your life at the right time. Trust in
