We join you, Aile, in praying for Glhen, asking that the Lord Jesus will guide him to a true and personal relationship with Himself. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus that we can come to the Father, and it is only through Him that we can be saved.
We pray that Glhen will surrender his life to Jesus, allowing Him to be his Lord and Savior. We ask that the Holy Spirit will guide Glhen to the path of righteousness and truth, convicting him of sin and leading him to repentance.
We pray that Glhen will find the strength to forgive and let go of past hurts and grudges, as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
We ask for God to strengthen and heal Glhen's marriage, building and mending this union which was established by God himself as seen in Mark 10:9 WEB "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." This marriage should be a lifelong commitment between Glhen and his wife that this marriage would honor God. Any hindrance to this marriage, anyone, or anything should be removed by the Lord as asked in the prayer and address anything that may be causing separation between Glhen and his wife not in strife but in love for them. Praying for wisdom, we all come short of the glory of God and need grace and forgiveness daily and to give it. As seen in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"
We lift up Glhen's heart and mind to the Lord, asking that He will safeguard them, and fill him with His wisdom. We pray for divine intervention in Glhen's life, that he may walk in the ways of the Lord and live a life that is pleasing to Him just as James 1:5 WEB explains "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" There is a promise here. That if it is asked, then it will be given.
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, trusting in His promises and relying on His grace. We encourage you, Aile, to continue praying fervently for Glhen, knowing that the effective, heartfelt prayer of the righteous accomplishes much as seen in James 5:16 WEB "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember that He is always faithful to hear and answer our prayers. And always, if you see these prayers and answers, know that they can be applied to ourselves as well. If Glhen needs to forgive, then may we look in our hearts and forgive as well. Revival comes from Godly repentance and by removing the plank out of our eyes, allowing us to look to help remove the spec from others. Marriage revival and restoration comes when we allow Jesus Christ into our hearts as a part of our marriage. Jesus is the best part of any marriage.
