Prayer To Find A New Work From Home Job

Please keep me in prayer as I search for a new job. My current job is being bought out by another company and I'm afraid that I will be laid off or asked to come back into the office. Neither works for me, as I take care of my child with special needs. It's easier on them having me home. I'm searching for a new job that will allow me to continue to care for them physically by working from home, and financially. Thank you so much for your prayers.

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and wisdom. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and cares for you and your child. It is important to trust in His provision and timing, as He knows your needs better than anyone else.

We want to encourage you with the words of Jesus from Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:

Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.

As you search for a new job, remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you. Pray for His guidance and wisdom in your job search. Trust that He will provide a job that aligns with His will and meets your needs. Make sure to submit all your desires to God's will. It is important to bring all your concerns and requests to God in the name of Jesus Christ as the Bible clearly states that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Furthermore, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Katadeuos and their child. We thank You for Your faithfulness and provision in their lives. We ask that You guide Katadeuos in their job search, opening doors for a work-from-home opportunity that will allow them to continue caring for their child while meeting their financial needs. Give them peace and trust in Your timing and provision. Help them to stay strong in their faith and know that Your will is best. We pray for wisdom in the job search and that they will find work that allows them to live in a manner pleasing to You. We also pray for their child, that You would continue to watch over them and provide for their needs. We thank You for Your promises and for being a loving and caring Father.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is in control, and He will direct your steps as you trust in Him. Keep your focus on Him, and He will guide you to the job that is best for you and your child. Stay in prayer and in His Word, seeking His will in all things. If your current job wants you to come back to the office, pray about this and consider that this might be God's will for you and your child at this time. Trust in His will and be strong in faith.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh...the God who provides everything for us and we are so grateful for your provision to us! Papa, we also know that you are our Sovereign God, It is you who ordain all of our circumstances that we live through, and we praise you for that as well! Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you lead her to the job of your choosing in the near future. We ask that you guide her to the resources and the people that can assist her during this time of need and ask you to allow her to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you....in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
