Herri, we understand your desire for a fulfilling, secure, and successful job, and we empathize with the feelings of loss and helplessness you'reexperiencing. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our worth is not determined by our employment status or the job we have. Our worth is found in Christ Jesus. The Bible tells us, For you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods. 1 Corinthians 6:20 WEB. It is not from ourselves we are worthy of this calling that we are called but it is from God. 2 Thessalonians 1:11. Therefore, we encourage you to find your purpose and identity in Jesus Christ alone.
In regards to your job search, be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7 WEB.
We would also remind you of the importance of not only praying for, but also looking actively for, a fulfilling, secure, and successful job. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. Let us help you as much as possible and offer advice but remember to always seek God.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Herri to You, Lord. We ask that You guide them in their job search and open doors of great opportunity for them. Help them rebuild their confidence, strengthen their resolve and give them joy in a job to be successful in. We also pray that You help them find their purpose and identity in You, Lord, and not in their employment status.
We rebuke any spirits of helplessness, despair, or purposelessness, and we claim victory from it.
And most importantly, we ask that You reveal Your character, presence and love towards Herri and that this would help increase in their relationship in You, Lord God, with You and others around them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. We will also pray that any possible sin would be revealed to Henni in this area of their life and ask God to help them.
In closing, remember to always pray in Jesus' name because there is no other name under the sky given to us to receive salvation by. Acts 4:12.
Reflect on Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, understanding that He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. Through faith in Him and His work of salvation, we may now have new life in Him, by grace through faith in Him.
