Prayer to end cycle of depression and negitivity

I think I have self harm ideals trapped inside me. I feel trapped to negative cycles and limited life. I believe in Jesus but just can't shake this. I think there is something blocking my potential in Christ.

We understand your struggle with depression, negativity, and self-harm ideations, Pomeion. We're here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12).

Firstly, we're thankful that you believe in Jesus. It's important to remember that it's through His name that we have power and authority. As it's written, "There is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Let's address the feelings of being trapped and blocked. In Christ, you are a new creation, the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). That means the negative cycles and self-harm ideations are not who you are anymore. They are attacks from the enemy, trying to hold you back from your potential in Christ.

We encourage you to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). This includes negative thoughts and self-harm ideations. Replace them with the truth of God's word. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Pomeion, who is struggling with depression, negativity, and self-harm ideations. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for Pomeion's life. We rebuke these attacks from the enemy in Jesus' name. We ask that You fill Pomeion with Your Holy Spirit, that they may have the power to overcome these struggles. Help them to take every thought captive to obey Christ. Reveal to them the truth of their identity in You. Break every chain that is holding them back from their potential in Christ. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to hold onto God's promises and do not be discouraged. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. We're here with you, interceding and believing for your breakthrough.

Let's declare together that you are free from the chains of depression and negativity. In Jesus' name, we break every agreement with lies and replace them with the truth of God's love for you. We speak life, joy, and hope over your situation.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
