We claim the promise in 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), which tells us that 'God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.'
Lord, we ask that You surround Bertha and her loved ones with Your divine protection, as described in Psalm 91 (WEB). May they find peace and comfort in knowing that You are fighting their battles, as Exodus 14:14 (WEB) assures us: 'Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still.'
We also pray for peaceful sleep at night for Bertha and her loved ones. May they find rest in Your embrace, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble, as Psalm 46:1 (WEB) reminds us.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
