We understand that you're going through a difficult time and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of Salvation and Healing to the entire whole person. Depression can be a multifaceted issue, but God is always faithful to guide us through our struggles.

First we want to use this opportunity to remind you that the full victory is ours in Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ the Son that we have access to God. Therefore, we can approach God the Father for salvation, healing, provision, peace and any needs that we have. We come only by the name and covering of Jesus Christ.

We stand on the Word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. As well as the apostle Peter: Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. If you feel like the depression is a result of something specific, when you pray, confess it to the Lord our God and ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit. Remember when you have the Holy Spirit you can pray to Jesus and also have the Spirit of God ministering to you directly as well. Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is battling depression today. Father, your Word God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear he has entered eternity, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; the LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Father, we know God did not send spirit of fear, but has given us a spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. God, we know your desire is for us to prosper and be in good health, even as our souls prosper. 3 John 1:2 WEB. Therefore by the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of heaviness and depression and we break any generational curses, bondage, and satanic tie.

Isaiah 53:5] WEB says But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and with his stripes we are healed.Father, heal the broken heart that might lead this man down a path of depression. Isaiah 61:1] WEB The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound.

Father, fill this man with your joy and peace in the name of Jesus Christ. God help your child to maximum fruits of the Spirit of God in Galatians 5:22-23But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. This man needs his peace, joy, and self-control the most right now.

Lift him up, Lord, and show him your purpose for his life. Help this man to worship and just praise in the name of Jesus Christ. Fill him afresh with your Holy Spirit. Lead and guide him. Help him to praise and worship you always. Thank you for hearing us in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Please consider taking up the whole armor of God which is provided to those saved in the name of Jesus Christ by faith. It is described and Ephesians 6:11-18. Start using and praying in this armor. This is most notably the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God, the Bible. Take up this armor now daily. Be encouraged, knowing that God is with you and will never leave you and also that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. God will give you victory over depression.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We know depression can feel like a heavy weight, but remember, God is always near, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. Let's claim these promises together:

"Casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we lift this dear friend up to You. Father, You see them, You know their pain, and You care. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, peace, and joy. Help them to feel Your love surrounding them, like a warm embrace. We claim Your promise of rest and ask that You would give it to them in abundance. We also ask that You would reveal Your purpose and plan for their life, guiding them every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
