We understand that you're seeking God's provision and guidance as you pursue your nursing degree with a heart to serve children and babies in pediatrics and the NICU. Thank you for reaching out. It is so good to have a desire to help others, and it is a blessing that you want to help the most vulnerable of all, the little children. First, we want to remind you that God is the provider of all things. It is only by His grace that we have access and are able to go to school and be a nurse. God is the ultimate provider and He is the source of all intelligence and ability.
Matthew 6:31-33 WEB
"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also must remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by His sacrifice on the cross that our sins are made white as snow. We are washed clean in the blood of the lamb. Therefore, we should always pray in Jesus' name to God.
John 14:6 WEB
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
It is also important to remember that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord. It is by faith that we please the Lord.
Romans 8:28 WEB
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ with a heart full of praise and worship. We lift up the one writing to us that you will provide their needs. We pray that the love of Jesus is the motive for wanting to be a nurse. We pray that you will open doors for their job and schooling, no matter if that door is a scholarship, grant, or job to pay for school. We pray that you will give them wisdom in their studies and that you will give them strength to persevere even when their studies seem difficult. We pray that you will sanctify them through their studies and that your Holy Spirit will speak through them to others in the healthcare field and that you will use them as a vessel of your love to spread the good news. We pray that you will give them the wisdom to administer your healing to the children and babies in pediatrics and the NICU, but we also pray that if it is your will that they enter a different field or pursue a different calling that they will be obedient to your will. We pray that you will provide the financial needs to accomplish your will, whatever that may be. We pray all things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
