We understand your distress, Aile, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and truth. Let's first align your request with the Word of God.
In matters of conflict, even within families, God calls us to peace and reconciliation. He tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (Romans 12:18, WEB)
However, we must also recognize that God is a God of truth and justice. A restraining order is a serious matter, often indicating deeper issues that need addressing. We should pray for God's will to be done, not necessarily for the order to be cancelled, but for His wisdom and guidance in this challenging time.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Aile and their family. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding the restraining order. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment. Help them to reconcile if it is Your will, and if not, give them the grace to accept and understand Your plan.
Lord Jesus, You said, 'For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s foes will be those of his own household.' (Matthew 10:35-36, WEB) We know that You value truth and righteousness over false peace. So, we pray that Your perfect will be done in Aile's life and family.
Please keep their family in Your care, guide them through this difficult time, and help them to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aile, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, be it from a pastor or a Christian counselor, to navigate this situation. Trust that God is working even in this, and He will bring good out of it (Romans 8:28, WEB). Remember, it's not about the order being cancelled, but about God's will being done and His peace reigning in your family.
