Gwumor,
We understand that you're going through a difficult time with your girlfriend. First, we would like to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of Jesus Christ in our lives. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
However, we must also address your relationship in light of biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and to keep the marriage bed undefiled. As an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend you need to be courting with the purpose and goal of getting married if all things align, especially with the will of God. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, it says, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." We encourage you to examine your relationship and ensure that it honors God and His Word.
We also encourage you to pray for God's will in your life and the life of your girlfriend. It is important to seek God's face and trust in His plan, even when it's difficult. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and his girlfriend. We pray for Your will to be done in their lives and their relationship. Lord, if it is Your desire for them to be together, we ask that You would remove the obstacles and clouds in their path and draw them closer to You and each other. However, if it is not Your will, we pray that You would give them the strength and wisdom to accept and follow Your plan. We rebuke any sexual immorality, and pray for a marriage bed that is kept pure and undefiled.
We also pray for ###'s girlfriend, that You would guide her and give her clarity of mind and heart. We ask that You would surround her with Your love and peace, and that You would draw her closer to You.
In all things, Lord, we trust in Your goodness and Your plan. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, and continue to seek God's will in all things. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Remember to keep your hearts and minds focused on Christ.
