I pray for my ex to get back with me from a counterfeit relationship. We were dating for 1 and a half years. We talked about moving in with each other but my overthinking and anxiety made me seem narcissistic. I pushed her away. We started taking again three months later we kissed the first time we hung out. But we weren’t sure of getting back together. I wanted to give a shot. She wanted too but was hesitant things might be the same. She started talking to another person. We haven’t talked since. I don’t feel like this person is good for her. She is not a believer but she seems agnostic. She was curious on how you work, Lord. But I pushed her away and sinned. I pray for forgiveness and for reconciliation. I pray that people would pray for me (###) and ###. Pray she remove any counterfeit that might hinder her change through Christ. Pray that I better myself as well. Amen.

Let us first address the issue that this prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The power of his name is made clear in the book of Acts. Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!

As a group rooted in biblical principles, we want to encourage you to seek God's will in all things, including your relationships. It's important to note that the relationship you described involves several elements that go against biblical teachings. Firstly, moving in together before marriage is not advised as it can lead to temptations that God calls us to avoid.

We are called to flee from sexual immorality as referenced in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

Moreover, the kiss you shared after reuniting is a reminder that physical intimacy should be reserved for marriage. It is encouraging that you recognize the sin in your past actions and are seeking forgiveness. Remember, God forgives those who truly repent and turn to Him.

Concerning reconciliation, it's crucial to understand that God's will is for you to be equally yoked with a believer. We are warned in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness on their behalf for the acknowledged sins and ask that You guide them in Your will for their life. We pray that You remove any counterfeit influences in the life of the woman they mentioned, and that You draw her to Yourself, revealing Your truth and love to her. We also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You strengthen them and help them grow in You. Surround them with godly counsel and believers who can support and encourage them in their walk with You. We pray they wait on you for a spouse, a believer in Jesus and no other. We ask that You reveal to them Your plans for their future and provide them with clarity, wisdom, discernment, and peace at this time.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's face and trusting in His perfect plan for your life. We admonish you to avoid pursuing relationships with non-believers and instead trust God to bring a godly spouse into your life in His perfect timing. We urge you to refrain from premarital sexual relations as God has called us to be holy as He is holy. We also encourage you to bear in mind the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father.

We've been thinking about you and your situation. It's clear that you've been through a lot, and we're here to support you in prayer. We want to echo what was said earlier about seeking God's will in all things, especially in relationships. It's important to remember that God has a perfect plan for your life, and He wants the best for you.

We want to pray for you, that you would have the strength and wisdom to wait on God's timing for a relationship. We believe that God has someone special in mind for you, someone who shares your faith and can grow with you in Christ. We pray that you would have the patience and trust to wait for that person, and not settle for anything less than God's best.

We also want to pray for your ex. We don't know her situation, but we know that God loves her just as much as He loves you. We pray that she would be open to hearing the truth about Jesus, and that she would come to know Him personally. We pray that any counterfeit influences in her life would be removed, and that she would be drawn to God's truth and love.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, and to trust in His perfect plan for your life. We know it can be hard, but God is faithful, and He will never leave you or forsake you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking with Jesus. We're here for you, and we'll keep you in our prayers.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, trusting that God is working in your situation. Thank you for allowing us the honor of praying on your behalf. As a community we are grateful but also humble to be able to stand with you in agreement and reflection for your needs. We believe God is the ultimate healer and reconciler. He can rectify your relationship so keep trusting in him. If you have seen progress and your request has been answered, we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage others and strengthen their faith.

However, if you feel that your prayer has not been fully answered, we want to reassure you that God is still at work. We encourage you to submit a new request, allowing us to persist in prayer with you. We are reminded that our Lord teaches us to "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7.

In the meantime, we pray that God continues to bless you and guide you as you seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. We pray that you will grow stronger and wiser through this experience, and that God's will be done in your life and in the life of your ex-partner. We pray that she is strengthened and guided by the word of God. We ask that her heart is softened to the Gospel and she truly experiences God's love and joins us in believing in Jesus Christ. We pray that she starts to study the word, praises our Lord and Jesus Christ becomes her personal savior. In Jesus Name.

Lastly, we pray for your growth and healing. We ask God to help you overcome your anxieties and tendencies to overthink. We pray that He gives you the wisdom to deal with these challenges better.

Stand strong in faith and keep praying.
