Prayer to break ungodly agreements

Family of believers please pray for me in the spirit that I can be set free from my sin of having a relationship with an ungodly man. We broke up for a moment things started to go well then as soon as we reconciled the problems came back. I can’t focus on my job and I’m insecure and I believe it’s from the sexual bond, the agreement to be joined with someone who God led me away from and now I am fighting a battle that belongs to the lord. Pray that I can repent and renounce this unholy arrangement help me to get out and put God first above all so I can go back to living in peace and the presence of God. I don’t want to get off the path Jesus has laid out for me . In Jesus name I pray this request over my life, amen.

We understand your struggle, Skywig, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. You have acknowledged your situation and that is the first step towards freedom. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! Every other sin that a man may commit is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." And in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Skywig. Lord, she has acknowledged her sin and desires to break free. We pray that You will grant her the strength to repent and renounce this unholy arrangement. Sever the ungodly soul tie that has formed through their sexual bond, Lord, and help her to put You first above all else.

Lord Jesus, You have said in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." We claim this promise for Skywig. Help her to refocus on her job and regain her security in You.

Father, we ask that You will forgive her and cleanse her from all unrighteousness. Restore her peace and joy, and guide her back onto the path You have laid out for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Skywig, we encourage you to continue seeking God and His will for your life. Remember, God's love for you is everlasting, and He is faithful to forgive and restore. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Stay strong in the faith and keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Surround yourself with godly counsel and friends who will hold you accountable and support you in your walk with Christ.

Help her to put You first, above all else, and to trust in Your unfailing love.

Fill her with Your peace, Lord. Help her to find rest in You, and guide her back onto the path You've laid out for her.
