We join you in praying for your husband and his family, seeking God's will and their salvation through Jesus Christ. We commend you for acknowledging the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit in transforming lives.
Firstly, let us address the spiritual battle you are interceding for. The lies and deception of any false teaching, including Islam, can only be exposed by the truth of the Gospel. As Jesus said, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. Know that you are praying in line with God's will, for He desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:4-5 WEB).
Pray with confidence, for the Lord can break the hold of Islam over your husband and his family. Be aware that people are not our enemy, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). As the Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16 WEB), trust that God's word will accomplish what it intends, even in the hearts of your loved ones.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our sister's husband and his family. Lord, You are compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in loving kindness and truth (Exodus 34:6 WEB). We ask that You break the hold of Islam over them and reveal the truth of the Gospel to their hearts. Expose the lies and deception of the enemy, and bring them to a saving knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
By the power of Your Holy Spirit, transform their lives speedily and permanently, for their good and Your glory. Remember Your promise that there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over the ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance (Luke 15:7 WEB). Lord, leave the ninety-nine and find our sister's husband and his family.
Equip her with Your spiritual armor, and strengthen her faith as she stands firm in this spiritual warfare. Encourage her heart as she hopes in You, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You began in her and her family (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, for the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12 WEB). Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful. Stand firm in prayer, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
