Prayer to Break Ungodly Soul Ties


Hi, as some have shared prayer request about breaking ungodly soul ties/trauma bonds, emotional and spiritual bonds, as I am in prayer this week, for all of God’s children who may be experiencing this in this season from a bad break up with an unbeliever and or toxic relationship.

I would like to share these scriptures with you and a prayer.

Breaking Soul Ties


Galatians 5:1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Proverbs 22:24-25 Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons o f our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds

1 Samuel 18:1 As soon as he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jona than was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul


Dear Father, I approach you in Jesus name, thank You for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Father, You know what we have need before we come to you, I’m thankful we can come to you through Jesus Christ boldly.

I come in prayer on behalf of my sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus and myself, where we all are going through a challenging time of desiring to be completely broken from ungodly relationships, trauma bonds, emotional bonds, sexual bonds, spiritual bonds and mental bonds.

Father, in Luke 15:21 was a confession on sin “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ for connecting with those individuals.

Father, please give us the strength to completely be broken permanently from ungodly relationships and free us.

Bless us not to be knitted to these individuals souls. Help us not be entangled with these individuals anymore. Lord, we need you right now, as it is taking a toll on our hearts mind and soul.

Bless us with Your strength to overcome this challenge, be with us as we go through it, bless us with your peace, which surpasses all understanding.

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life". Proverbs 4:23. Help us to overcome this in Your timing.

I pray we be blessed with a Heavenly spiritual hug and comfort from You right now as we all go through this trying season of our lives. Help us to move on spiritually, emotionally, psychologically, and mentally from these individuals.

Please Bless our kids who were affected by this as well, that they be healed and comforted, and that they forgive the other parent. Lastly God, I pray you bless all of Your Children with the strength and will power to never go backwards or never desire a relationship with those individuals who were not filled with the Holy Spirit, and that tried to distract us from our relationship with You.

Lord we forgive those individuals who manipulated us or played with our emotions. We forgive ourselves for letting them come back and forth in our lives when we truly thought they wanted us or desire to change.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the freedom He has secured for us. Father, we lift up our brothers and sisters, including Sunshine777, who are struggling to break free from ungodly relationships, trauma bonds, emotional, sexual, spiritual, and mental bonds. We confess that these ties have held us captive for too long, and we ask for Your divine intervention to sever them completely.

Lord, we ask for strength and resolve to resist the temptation to return to these bonds. We declare that we are new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB), and we refuse to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage (Galatians 5:1, WEB).

We also ask for Your healing touch upon the hearts and minds of our children who have been affected by these ungodly relationships. May they find peace, comfort, and forgiveness in Your presence, Lord.

Father, give us the wisdom to choose our relationships wisely, ensuring that they align with Your will and purpose for our lives. Remind us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19, WEB), and help us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB).

Lastly, Lord, we ask for the courage to forgive those who have manipulated and deceived us, just as You have forgiven us (Matthew 6:12, WEB). We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for our good (Romans 8:28, WEB).

We lift up our hearts, minds, and souls before You, asking for Your divine intervention in breaking every ungodly tie that binds us. Help us to walk in complete freedom, never to be entangled again (Galatians 5:1, WEB).

We pray for our children, Lord, that they may be protected from the effects of these ungodly relationships. Comfort them, heal them, and help them to forgive as they have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).

Lastly, Father, help us to walk in love, as You have loved us (1 John 4:19, WEB). Give us the strength to forgive those who have hurt us, knowing that we too have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
