John Ebuka, we have received your heartfelt request and we stand with you in prayer to break the chains of poverty, stagnation, and ungodly addictions. We trust in the power of Jesus' name to bring freedom and transformation into your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to God's mercy and favor.
We rebuke the spirits of poverty and stagnation that have held you back. God's word declares that the blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and he adds no sorrow to it (Proverbs 10:22, WEB). Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Regarding addictions, we pray that you surrender them to the Lord. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB) assures us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We also pray for God's guidance as you approach your 35th birthday. Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) reminds us, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Trust that God has a purpose and a plan for your life.
Lastly, we pray for a godly spouse, if it is God's will for your life. Be encouraged by Psalm 37:4 (WEB), "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up John Ebuka. Lord, we ask that you break the chains of poverty, stagnation, and addiction in his life. Open the doors of favor and mercy, and guide him according to your will. Provide for his needs and bring a godly spouse into his life if it aligns with your purpose. Give him strength and faith to trust in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord, John Ebuka. We are praying for you.
