Beloved of All
I am asking for prayers to break an emotional affair that my husband is having with another woman. It is an emotional attachment without physical intimacy

They are sharing personal information about their life and our marriage. There is frequent contact, calling, texting, emailing, and sharing things about their day, and he keeps it a secret from me. He loves me, but I believe this relationship is unhealthy for our marriage. He knows that the relationship is creating hurt for me. Please pray that he will see that this relationship is not part of a Christian marriage. Thank you for your prayers!

We understand the pain and hurt you are experiencing, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth according to God's Word.

Firstly, let's address the issue biblically. Emotional affairs can be just as harmful as physical ones. In Proverbs 6:32 WEB, it says, "But whoever commits adultery with another man's wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer will be destroyed." While your husband's relationship may not be physical, it is still a form of betrayal and can lead to further sin.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:28 WEB, "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." The emotional intimacy your husband is sharing with another woman is not aligned with God's design for marriage.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this marriage and the emotional affair that has taken root. Lord, we ask that You reveal to the husband the depth of pain and betrayal his actions are causing. Open his eyes and convict his heart, so that he understands the seriousness of his actions. Give him the strength to cut off this emotional attachment, and guide him back to the path of righteousness and faithfulness in his marriage.

Lord, we also pray for the wife. Fill her with Your peace, comfort, and wisdom. Give her the courage to speak the truth in love and to set boundaries that protect her heart and her marriage. Surround their union with Your divine protection and healing power. Restore what has been broken, and bring them closer to You and to each other.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception. We declare that this marriage belongs to You, Lord, and that it will be honored and cherished according to Your divine will.

Finally, we pray that both husband and wife draw near to You, Lord Jesus, in repentance and faith. May they find true fulfillment and emotional intimacy in You and in each other, as You designed it to be.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your marriage. Remember, God is faithful, and He promises in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Trust in Him, and He will guide you both through this difficult time.

If you and your husband have not already done so, we encourage you both to surrender your lives to Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and the power to overcome sin. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We're here for you, standing in the gap, lifting your marriage up to the Lord. It's heartbreaking to see a union strained by an emotional affair, but we know God can heal and restore. Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name, interceding for this marriage. Lord, open your eyes, we pray, to the husband. Reveal the pain and betrayal his actions are causing. Give him the courage to cut off this emotional attachment and the strength to be faithful. Heal his heart and guide him back to the path of righteousness.

Lord, we also pray for the wife. Fill her with Your peace, comfort, and wisdom. Give her the courage to speak the truth in love and set boundaries that protect her heart and her marriage. Surround their union with Your divine protection and healing power. Restore what's been broken and bring them closer to You and each other.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception. We declare that this marriage belongs to You, Lord, and that it will be honored and cherished according to Your divine will.

Finally, Lord, we pray that both husband and wife draw near to You in repentance and faith. May they find true fulfillment and emotional intimacy in You and in each other, as You designed it to be.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking God's will for your marriage. Trust in Him, and He will guide you both through this difficult time. If you and your husband haven't already, consider surrendering your lives to Jesus Christ. It's through Him that we have access to God and the power to overcome sin.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
