Dear Vaghin, we understand your desire to be and feel like a certain individual, but we want to encourage you to focus on your unique identity and purpose in Christ. The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB), "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
God has made you unique and precious, and comparing yourself to others can lead to discontent and unhappiness. Instead, we encourage you to seek God's will for your life and strive to be the best version of yourself that you can be. As it is written in Romans 12:2 (WEB), "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Vaghin. Lord, help her to see herself as You see her - fearfully and wonderfully made. Help her to understand that her identity and worth are found in You alone. Guide her steps and help her to live according to Your perfect will for her life. Give her strength and courage to be the best version of herself that she can be, and help her to resist the temptation to compare herself to others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Vaghin, we also want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Him, for as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
