We are truly sorry to hear about your current situation and we are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, we note that your prayer was not offered in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in the WEB "For There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, through which we must be saved!"
In this time of need, remember that God cares for you and that He has a plan for your life. In fact he tells us in the World English Bible, "Don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing?"
He also promises to provide for our needs. As we read in the World English Bible, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." It is important to examine our lives to see if we are living in a way to please God. The homelessness and eviction may have been caused by things not in our control or it may be God's discipline to correct us for not living as He commanded.
To this end we encourage you to go to Him in prayer and ask for forgiveness of your sins. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then we encourage you to do so and then your prayer requests will be heard by God. If you have done this then go to him in prayer.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in desperate need of a home. We know Our Father knows our needs before we ask but we are commanded to ask. We ask that You provide a home for them and favor in finding an affordable place to live that they may be covered. Lord, help them find a place quickly. We ask these things in Jesus name and by His authority.
We also pray for their job, Lord, that it would be preserved and they would be blessed in it. We pray that they would be a blessing to their employer, their fellow employees, and their customers. We ask these things in Jesus name and by His authority.
Lord, we pray for our brother/sister that they will be renewed in their faith in You and walk in Your ways.
We ask these things in Jesus name and by His authority.
Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God. He is the source of all hope and provision. Continue to seek Him and His will for your life. If your current situation is a result of sin we encourage you to turn from it. We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to examine your relationship with Jesus Christ.
