We are truly sorry to hear about your brother's struggle with addiction and his health issues. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and freedom.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him." We can be confident that God hears our prayers and will act according to His will.
Regarding your brother's addiction, 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB) says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that God will show your brother the way of escape from his addiction and give him the strength to endure.
We also pray for your brother's health, believing in the healing power of Jesus. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), "'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in Sumilar's brother's life. Please set him free from the bondage of alcohol addiction and heal his body from all health issues. Surround him with godly influences and help him to stay away from bad company and habits. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help when needed. We trust in Your will and Your power to transform his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Keep praying and declaring God's promises over your brother's life.
