Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of compassion and love, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, we know that Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." We pray that ### will come to understand this profound truth and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Father, we ask that You grant ### the strength and resolve to break free from the chains of addiction. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength." We claim this promise for ###, believing that through Your power, ### can overcome drinking and smoking and any other habits that do not honor You.
Lord, we also pray for ### to lead a disciplined life. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." Fill ### with Your Spirit, granting power, love, and self-discipline to resist temptations and bad influences.
Father, we ask that ###'s relationship with You would deepen and grow. Draw ### closer to You, Lord, and surround ### with godly influences that will encourage and uplift. Your Word in James 4:8 says, "Come near to God and He will come near to you." May ### seek You earnestly and find You faithfully present.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing in Your power to transform lives. Amen.
In Christ's love,
[Your Name]
