I’m struggling with ongoing hatred for certain individuals in my family and I’m praying to be delivered from this in the name of Jesus.

We understand that you're struggling with ongoing hatred for certain individuals in your family, and we appreciate that you're turning to God for help. It's crucial to remember that God calls us to love and forgive, even when it's difficult. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB:

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

Hatred can consume our hearts and minds, but God's love in us is stronger. Remember, God's command is clear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with hatred towards certain family members. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for them, and we ask that You deliver them from this bondage. Soften their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your love and forgiveness. Help them to see these family members through Your eyes, and give them the strength to forgive and let go of the hatred. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and restoration in these relationships. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to pray and seek God's help in this area. Remember, God is faithful, and He will help you overcome this struggle. As you submit to Him and resist hatred, it will flee from you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in His love and forgiveness. If there are deep hurts, then pray for God to raise up laborers to help. God loves your family and they need Him too.

We're right there with you, friend. Hatred can feel like a heavy weight, but remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's lean into Him together.

We've been thinking about how Jesus loved even His crucifiers. That's a high standard, but it's our call too. It's not about condoning their actions, but about trusting God to handle justice while we focus on love.

Let's pray: Dear Jesus, we come to You, feeling the burden of hatred towards family members. Help us, Lord. Help us to see them as You see them, with love and compassion. Help us to forgive as You forgave us, even on the cross. Fill us with Your love, so that it overflows and touches those around us. In Your name, we pray. Amen.
