Thank you for your prayer request. It's wonderful to see a heart that desires to be a godly husband and father. The Bible has much to say about these roles, and we will pray and share some guidance with you.
Firstly, it's commendable that you acknowledge your anger and seek forgiveness. The Bible tells us in **Ephesians 4:31**:
—— Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.
—— Be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Regarding your role as a husband, the Bible says in **Ephesians 5:25**:
—— Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it
And for your role as a father, the Bible says in **Ephesians 6:4**:
—— Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before God all powerful, lifting up Andree, who desires to be an amazing husband and father. We pray that you will fill his heart with love, patience, and kindness, just as you love the church. Help him to be a godly leader in his home, guiding his wife and children with wisdom and grace.
We pray for his marriage, that it would be a reflection of your love for the church. Help Andree to love his wife as you love the church, and to be willing to lay down his life for her as you did for us. We pray for unity, understanding, and forgiveness in their marriage. Help his wife to forgive him for any past anger, and help them to move forward in love and harmony.
We pray for his relationship with his children, that it would be marked by love, patience, and godly discipline. Help him to be a strong, loving father who points his children to you.
This we ask in according to the power of your name that is above all names because it is only by your name that we go to the Father. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Keep studying the Bible for more guidance, and consider seeking counsel from godly men in your life. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only by believing in his death and resurrection that we are saved because he is the way, the truth, and the life and no one goes to the Father except by Him. Know that God hears your prayers and that he is faithful to help you become the husband and father he has called you to be.
