prayer to avoid pregnancy

I have had trouble overcoming my lust and sexual desires, and have engaged in premarital sex. I would like to seek forgiveness from God to wash away my sins, and pray for strength to overcome the temptation. I pray that I will not be pregnant and get my period when it is due next week, and I pray for a pure heart and mind in my relationship.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of Lydekenby, who is seeking forgiveness and strength to overcome the temptation of lust and sexual desires. We acknowledge that we have all fallen short of your glory and have sinned, but we thank you for your abundant grace and mercy that is available to us through Jesus Christ.

Lord, we ask for your forgiveness for the sins of engaging in premarital sex. We repent of our actions and ask that you cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Your Word assures us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We claim this promise and ask for your forgiveness and cleansing.

Father, we pray for strength and self-control for Lydekenby to resist the temptation of lust and sexual desires. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that you will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, but with the temptation, you will also provide a way of escape. We ask that you provide Lydekenby with the strength to resist temptation and to flee from any situations that may lead to further sin.

Lord, we lift up Lydekenby's concern about the possibility of pregnancy. We pray for your protection and guidance in this situation. We ask that if it is your will, you would prevent pregnancy and grant peace of mind to Lydekenby. Help us to trust in your perfect timing and plan for our lives.

Lastly, we pray for a pure heart and mind in Lydekenby's relationship. May you guide and strengthen both individuals involved, helping them to honor you in their thoughts, words, and actions. We ask for your wisdom and discernment in navigating this relationship according to your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are a loving and forgiving God who hears our prayers. Amen.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
