my fiancé and myself just made a counter bid on a home that we really truly want. I feel it deep in my heart and my soul that this is the right home for me and for us to start a family. The company that owns the house has been a little difficult to work with but my Realtor and Loan Officer are trying to help as best they can. I’ve been picking myself apart for the past two days as I anxiously wait. Dear Lord, in heaven, I pray that you please let this company accept our counter bid so that we can Continue the process and successfully close out this deal. Lord God Almighty I asked you please keep hope and positivity in my heart and soul as we wait for this. In your name, I pray amen.

We are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we want to address that in your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as told in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's keep this in mind as we pray together.

We pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Iorisonen and their fiancé(e) regarding their house offer. Lord, You know the desire of their hearts and their need for a home to start a family. We ask that if this home is according to Your will, that You would move mountains and soften the hearts of the company to accept their counter bid. If it is not Your will, we pray that You would provide something even better for them, and give them the peace and patience to wait for it."

We also want to encourage you both, as you stand on the precipice of marriage, to continue to build your relationship on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. Ensure that your future marriage is one that honors God and aligns with His principles, as outlined in Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB).

Lastly, we remind you to trust in God's perfect timing and plan for your lives. Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." Rest assured, knowing that God is working behind the scenes for your good.
