We understand that you're facing a challenging situation at work and seeking prayer for a successful conversation regarding a new project. Before we pray, let's remember God's promise to provide for all of our needs according to His riches in glory. We are instructed not to be anxious about anything but to present our requests to God with thanksgiving (Philippians 4: 6-7). We are also reassured that He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).
First, we must also acknowledge that we are to do all things through His Son, Jesus Christ, as it says in John 14:6 IJC himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Also, we have assurance that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains (Matthew 17:20, WEB). We can trust God can do many things such as make the meeting a success, change the terms of your employment, or provide another job. He knows what's best for your situation.
Let's pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the details of their situation and the importance of the upcoming conversation. We pray that You will give them favor and wisdom, that their words will be persuasive and well-received.
We pray that if it is Your will and in alignment with Your plan, for their contract not to be terminated. We ask that You will open the necessary doors for a new project. However, we also ask that they will be able to accept your will even if it is not what they desire or request.
However, if this is not what you desire for their life, we pray that they can trust you and your plan for their life. We ask that they can trust you for their livelihood and that they will not worry or be overcome with anxiety. We pray that they will seek You first and Your righteousness, trusting that all needed things will be provided to them.
At the same time, we pray that they will not hide their Christianity but will represent you well. In all things, we pray that they will glorify God. We pray that they will know that whatever happens will be allowed or caused by God for their good and His glory.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In the meantime, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight even if it is a path that you were not expecting (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Remember that God is faithful. He is the author and perfecter of our faith. We should fix our eyes on Him, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
