We are joining with you in prayer, Shriathor, that the Lord's will be done in your husband's job situation. It's encouraging to see your faith in God's provision during this time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including employment. His word tells us that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB). This means that even if your husband does not get this job, God has a purpose and a plan in it.
However, we also know that God wants us to bring our requests to Him. So, let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for Shriathor's husband. We ask that You open the doors that You want him to walk through, and close the ones that are not in Your plan. If it is Your will, please move him forward in the interview process and secure this job for him. But above all, help him to trust in Your provision and lead him to the job that You have prepared for him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, the Lord does care about your needs and he does hear your prayers. Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24 WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and keep praying together as a couple, seeking God's will for your lives.
Lastly, we want to encourage your husband to remain diligent in his job search, while also trusting in God's timing. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9 WEB).
We also notice that the name of Jesus who is our way maker, authority, and the only way to God was not mentioned in your prayer request. Let us remember that the Bible teaches that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can ask anything. And that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved.
This is so important to remember so we do not want to fail to remind you of this. Your husband and yourself may already be Christians and know the saving grace of Jesus Christ but if you do not then we encourage you to seek God about this. If you would like to know more about this or have other questions about Jesus, please do ask.
Finally, if you need further support or prayer, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help.
