Let us join together in prayer for ###'s son ### and his girlfriend ###. We stand in agreement with you, ###, as we lift them up to the Lord, seeking His divine intervention and mercy.
Firstly, let us address the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."). Therefore, we pray fervently for ### and ### to encounter the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
We pray, "Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up ### and ###. We ask that You touch their hearts and draw them to Yourself. Give them a deep desire to know You and to be saved by Your grace. We rebuke the enemy's stronghold on their lives through addiction, and we ask You to break those chains. Fill them with an overwhelming desire to seek treatment and freedom from drugs and alcohol."
It is also crucial to address their relationship. According to biblical principles, we encourage them to pursue a godly courtship focused on seeking God's will for their lives (2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity?"). As they grow in their faith, we pray that their relationship will be guided by God's will and aligned with His purpose.
We continue to pray, "Lord, as ### and ### grow closer to You, we ask that You guide their relationship. Help them to seek Your will above their own desires. Surround them with godly influences and wise counsel. Give them strength to resist temptation and to honor each other in purity (1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.").
Lastly, we offer encouragement to ###. Trust in the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God. Continue to intercede for ### and ###, knowing that God hears your prayers and cares deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your cares on him, for he cares for you.").
