Prayer that if celibacy is important to ###

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###. We lift up this prayer request regarding celibacy and the desire for a husband. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the giver of every good and perfect gift, and that includes the desires of our hearts. Your Word tells us in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Father, if celibacy is indeed important to you, we ask that you would grant ### a new heart and a renewed desire for it. Help ### to find joy and fulfillment in serving you wholeheartedly in this season of singleness. Give ### the strength to resist the temptations of the world and to remain faithful to your calling.
Furthermore, Lord, we ask that you would also grant ### the desire for a godly husband, if it aligns with your perfect will. Your Word says in Proverbs 18:22, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord." We pray that you would bring the right person into ###'s life at the appointed time, someone who will love and honor you, and who will be a true companion and helpmate.
Father, we trust in your perfect timing and your wisdom. We surrender these desires to you, knowing that you have a plan and purpose for ###'s life. Help ### to seek you above all else and to trust in your provision.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, respect You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let all those who are watching me see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
