Hello everyone! Let's lift up @Fyreynormar's friend's partner who's in the hospital, and @Khulile82 who's seeking a job. Also, let's pray for those battling anxiety and depression. Every prayer makes a difference!
Lizzymay, we join you in your desire for meaningful friendships and bring your request before the throne of grace, seeking God's will for you in this area of your life.
Firstly, we are reminded of Proverbs 13:20 (WEB) which says, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm." It is crucial to seek friends who are wise and godly, as they can influence our own walk with Christ.
We also want to encourage you to be open to friendships within the body of Christ. The church is a great place to meet like-minded individuals who share your faith. As it is written in Malachi 3:16 (WEB), "Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for godly friends for Lizzymay. Guide her steps and orchestrate divine connections with people who will encourage her faith and challenge her to grow in Your grace and knowledge. Help her to be a true friend to others, reflecting the love of Christ. May her friendships be built on Your solid foundation and may they bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Lizzymay, remember that friendship is also about being a friend to others. As Jesus said in John 15:13 (WEB), "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." Be open to the opportunities around you to show Christ's love to others and to be a friend to the friendless.
In all things, keep your focus on Jesus Christ, for it is in Him that we find true fellowship and community. As Hebrews 12:2 (WEB) encourages us, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith."
