Prayer that boyfriend and I will find friends

Praying that my bf (35M) and I (32F) will find couple friends. We don’t have any friends outside of our immediate family and looking to make new couple friends to hang out with. My bf and I love each other, but we need friends. Thank you.

We understand your desire for fellowship and friendship, but we want to address a few things first. We noticed that you referred to your significant other as your boyfriend. In the Bible, we are encouraged to pursue committed, godly marriages rather than casual relationships. The term "boyfriend" suggests a level of casualness that may not align with biblical principles. We encourage you to consider the purpose of your relationship and to prayerfully seek God's will for your union.

As for your request, the Bible underscores the importance of community and fellowship. In Hebrews 10:24-25 (WEB), it says, "Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."

We pray that God will guide you both into relationships that honor Him. May He bring godly couples into your lives who will encourage and strengthen your faith together. Remember, it's important to seek friends who share your values and beliefs, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up Esopopos and her companion. We ask that You guide them into a committed, godly relationship that honors You. We pray that You bring faithful friends into their lives, couples who will encourage and strengthen them in their faith and walk with You. Help them to find fellowship and community among believers, and may their friendships be centered around Your love and truth.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to seek Jesus Christ in your lives if you haven't already. It is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet committed your lives to Jesus, we urge you to do so, as He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).
