We are grateful to join you in prayer and support, Wolunsor, as you navigate this important decision regarding your housing. It is encouraging to see your faith and obedience in rejecting the temporary contract and trusting God for a permanent home. We will intercede on your behalf, aligning our prayers with the will of God and the power of the name of Jesus. Let us remind you first of the promise in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
We thank God that you are seeking a permanent home, and we trust that His is working everything out for your good and all those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Wolunsor and her housing situation. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for answering her prayers for a permanent home. We ask for Your protection and guidance as she negotiates with the landlord. Lord, if this apartment is not from You, we pray that You would shut the door and make it clear to Wolunsor. If it is Your will for her to have this apartment, we ask that You would open the door and facilitate the process.
We also pray against any fear or insecurity Wolunsor may be feeling. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: 'For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.' We ask that You would fill her with Your peace, courage, and wisdom as she makes this important decision.
Lord, we also ask that You would provide for all of Wolunsor's financial needs, including any deposits or service costs that may be required. We trust in Your promise to supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lastly, Father, we pray for Wolunsor's continued spiritual growth and quiet time with You. We ask that You would surround her with godly neighbors and a safe environment where she can continue to draw close to You.
We rebuke any manipulation or deception from the enemy to misguide or cause harm to your servant, and we ask for guidance, and that you would shine the light of Jesus on this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Regarding the landlord working in a casino, we must be cautious not to judge or assume, but rather pray for discernment. It is important to remember that God can change hearts and lives, as seen in the story of Zacchaeus the tax collector (Luke 19:1-10). However, it is also wise to be cautious and to seek God's will in all decisions.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and to seek His will in all things. Remember that He is faithful and that He cares for you as a widow and orphan (Psalm 68:5, James 1:27). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust in His promises for you. Even in the midst of uncertainty, He is working everything out for your good.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to trust in His name and to lift up your prayers in His mighty name.
We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will direct your steps and provide a permanent home for you.
