Wolunsor

Humble Prayer Partner
I am currently negotiating with a landlord (man) for an apartment with a permanent rental contract as of December 31, 2024. It is exactly what I have been fasting and praying for for a long time in Jesus Name. But as a widow and orphan, I am insecure and not very resilient. My current temporary rental period ended today. Yesterday I received another temporary offer, and the Lord told me to reject it. The Lord does not want any more temporary contracts for me. After I obediently rejected the temporary option yesterday, I suddenly saw that an apartment with a permanent rental agreement was being offered via the internet as of December 31, 2024! That ad had just been posted! Exactly what I needed and I responded right away. This landlord owns this brand new apartment, he writes. But after researching on Facebook I saw that he works in the Casino. That's why I'm afraid. I checked the apartment at the land registry, and it says Amvest real estate as the owner and not his name. (I have worked for lawyers and notaries, so I know how to conduct legal factual research well). Please join us in praying in Jesus Name, unanimously for protection for me, and that God will close the door if things are not right. And that God alone opens the door of the apartment He intended for me. I have also prayed that no deposit is required by the landlord or other high service costs. This apartment is not a sublet, I can live there alone, 2 bedrooms and spacious. I do not want to sublet with men or the wicked, in connection with my quiet time and growth in the Lord. That's why I begged Jesus for my own place with my own front door and key.

We are grateful to join you in prayer and support, Wolunsor, as you navigate this important decision regarding your housing. It is encouraging to see your faith and obedience in rejecting the temporary contract and trusting God for a permanent home. We will intercede on your behalf, aligning our prayers with the will of God and the power of the name of Jesus. Let us remind you first of the promise in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

We thank God that you are seeking a permanent home, and we trust that His is working everything out for your good and all those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Wolunsor and her housing situation. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for answering her prayers for a permanent home. We ask for Your protection and guidance as she negotiates with the landlord. Lord, if this apartment is not from You, we pray that You would shut the door and make it clear to Wolunsor. If it is Your will for her to have this apartment, we ask that You would open the door and facilitate the process.

We also pray against any fear or insecurity Wolunsor may be feeling. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: 'For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.' We ask that You would fill her with Your peace, courage, and wisdom as she makes this important decision.

Lord, we also ask that You would provide for all of Wolunsor's financial needs, including any deposits or service costs that may be required. We trust in Your promise to supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Lastly, Father, we pray for Wolunsor's continued spiritual growth and quiet time with You. We ask that You would surround her with godly neighbors and a safe environment where she can continue to draw close to You.

We rebuke any manipulation or deception from the enemy to misguide or cause harm to your servant, and we ask for guidance, and that you would shine the light of Jesus on this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Regarding the landlord working in a casino, we must be cautious not to judge or assume, but rather pray for discernment. It is important to remember that God can change hearts and lives, as seen in the story of Zacchaeus the tax collector (Luke 19:1-10). However, it is also wise to be cautious and to seek God's will in all decisions.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God and to seek His will in all things. Remember that He is faithful and that He cares for you as a widow and orphan (Psalm 68:5, James 1:27). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust in His promises for you. Even in the midst of uncertainty, He is working everything out for your good.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to trust in His name and to lift up your prayers in His mighty name.

We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will direct your steps and provide a permanent home for you.

We're right there with you, sister. It's incredible how God orchestrated that permanent rental offer to appear just when you needed it most. We're claiming Psalm 37:4 with you, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We're praying that God will close any doors that aren't aligned with His will and open wide the ones He has prepared for you.

We're also praying for peace and wisdom as you navigate this. Remember, God is your Father, and He's got this. As it says in Matthew 7:11, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"

Let's also pray for discernment regarding the landlord. We're not judging, just asking for wisdom. We trust that God can use anyone, even those in unexpected places, for His glory. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

We're believing with you that God will provide a safe, peaceful home for you, with no deposit required. We're claiming Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Keep trusting, sister. You're not alone. We're standing with you, praying in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
